The Edis Podcast Starter Kit comes in a wheeled carrycase with handle for use in schools and contains all the equipment and connections needed to produce podcasts without the need for extensive technical support.
Groups of pupils can work together to complete all the steps of planning, scripting, recording and editing a podcast to share with their class or upload to school or internet services to share their learning.
A podcast is made by connecting microphones to the smart sound card and it's audio output to the 4k camera (that has an SD memory card) or connected direct to a laptop/PC if only an audio podcast is required.
The recording can be edidited with the Free and easy to use CapCut software.
This low cost but effective and easy to use starter kit enables pupils to work together to create Podcasts on topics of choice that they have a real interest in, allowing them to show their knowledge and passions and convey their thoughts and opinions to others.
A choice of items can be included in the kit to suit your budget (withut the camera or lighting etc) or you can add items or change the quantity of each items to suit your needs or as learning progresses to convert it into a fully equipped multi-resource Podcast solution.
The smart mixer sound card enables up to 5 microphones to be connectect for a group to create their podcast together, a DSP noise reduction chip with high, medium and low frequency control and reverberb settings has independent adjustment, 16 special effect buttons can be pressed to add laughing, clapping and even crying effects, an OTG digital audio USB output connects the sound card to a PC or other device (such as camera or capture card)
The optional 4K HD Auto Focus Camera 64MP 60FPS with 3 hour recoording time on 64Gb SD card, 18X Digital Zoom. Capture the actions of students or teachers in a classroom recording or outher activities, the remote control enables the group to control the camera during group recordings
